MySupervisor processes information about people on a daily basis and complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). MySupervisor respects the privacy of the people about whom we receive information and treats this information as strictly confidential. In this privacy policy we explain which personal data is processed and for what purposes. We recommend that you read this privacy statement carefully.

Fundamentals

The legal basis for the processing of your personal data by MySupervisor is always the execution of an agreement with you and/or your
permission or a legal obligation.

MySupervisor is always working to optimize and innovate its products/services. We therefore also use the personal data for analysing and to adjust and improve our products/services. We try to personalize our communications where possible and permitted. Personal data can also be used to prevent fraud and to secure our website, products and services.

Transfer of your data outside the EU

Countries within the European Economic Area (EEA) have an equivalent level of protection of personal data as the Netherlands. Respecting the general requirements of privacy laws and regulations we may pass on your personal data. We can do this, for example, for the benefit of good business operations. MySupervisor may in some cases transfer your personal data from the Netherlands abroad by using, for example, Google Analytics, LinkedIn or Facebook. Outside the EEA we will only transfer your personal data if there is an adequate level of protection. MySupervisor uses model contracts approved by the European Commission.

Security

MySupervisor takes appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against loss or unlawful processing. In this way, we secure our systems and applications at a level that is sufficient, given the state of the art, to prevent unauthorized access, modification, disclosure or loss of personal data. Retention of data

MySupervisor does not store your personal data for longer than necessary, unless we are legally obliged to keep your personal data for longer. Our basic principle is that we only retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide you with our services. After this, we will delete your personal data as far as possible. MySupervisor will not process personal data for longer than necessary for the purposes stated in this privacy statement.

Your rights

You have a number of legal rights towards MySupervisor: access, improvement or addition, data deletion, restriction of processing, transfer of digital data and the right to object. Below we explain those rights. We also explain how you can exercise these rights towards us.

At your request, MySupervisor will inform you in writing whether we are processing your personal data. With your request you must identify yourself by means of a valid identity document. In response, MySupervisor explains which personal data of yours it has processed or is still processing and will provide you with a copy. We will also explain for what purposes the data has been or is being processed, with whom the data is shared, how long it is expected to be stored and what other rights you may be able to exercise.

Improvement, addition or deletion

If you have received access to the processing of your personal data, you can request us to correct inaccuracies or to supplement or remove omissions. You can also manage your personal data yourself at the MySupervisor platform.

Objection

Exercising rights

Are your personal data processed on the basis of your consent? Then you have the right to withdraw your consent. Any withdrawal of your consent will not affect previous processing based on it.

Complaints

If you have a complaint about the processing of your personal data by MySupervisor, please let us know. We would also like to point out that you can always report a complaint about the use of your personal data to the Dutch Data Protection Authority. This body is authorized to hear your complaint and has a complaints procedure.
